Kentucky went broody in an empty nest. I gave her 10 eggs, and 3 of them hatched!

Chicks - now two weeks old!

And a little more piggy back riding

Momma and babies are doing great! They sleep in the crate at night, but momma takes them out during the day to teach them how to forage and dust bathe. They are so much fun to watch!!!

And now Berry the Serama has gone broody too! So far none of her eggs are developing... but we will have to wait and see! She is pretty determined to be a mom.
