Garden

My garden is non-existent. I would LOVE to start a garden, but I haven't picked out exactly where to place it so that the scorching desert sun won't kill it, and I can adequately protect it from my chickens and the large neighborhood pigeon population.
My final complaint, which is both a pro and a con, is of course that we are living in MIL's house, so I won't get to keep the garden and will have to start all over when we move.
